Thinking of dad who died seven years ago today. He taught me so much mostly by example. I never saw him ever back down from what he thought was right and he loved a hug. When he was sick, he decided to be silly. He’d never been silly before. It was a serious and brave decision. Love you dad.

Disappointed by so many TV shows about killers in recent years. Penhall's MINDHUNTER series was great, but I soon gave up on Fuller's HANNIBAL. Despite its attempts to glamourise crime, at least THE BLACKLIST was good fun.

The problem with huge wealth inequality is the same as the problem with absolute monarchy. Not only are you giving huge power to someone who might be a complete dick, but the structure by which he gets that power almost guarantees he’s going to be a complete dick.
