So, Microsoft, you are telling me there is no way to disable the useless, wasteful, inefficient, and annoying "Summary" block at the top of my Word documents if I am being made to use the web version of Office?! Ugh, this AI bubble can't burst fast enough.

Turns out you can attach #WordPress comments to a user's account after the fact. Using WP-CLI on our multisite, I was able to match up users who forgot to log in so their comments would appear as part of their user records:

NEW: Tech companies are betting big on nuclear energy to meet AIs massive power demands and they're using that AI to speed up the construction of new nuclear power plants.

And despite expert concerns about potential disaster, the US government is on board.

Every once in a while I remember those couple of months the internet went crazy for a song and everyone (kids, adults, celebrities, companies, schools) filmed themselves dancing to the "Harlem Shake"...

Put that in the Louvre and smoke it!

US House makes it official that it will be out next week.

By counts I’ve seen, that will mean 19 days of work over a stretch of 20 days.

The House is scheduled to be in session the following week though, before Thanksgiving break.

How many people ever substantially use their specific degree knowledge in their subsequent jobs? Fairly few

Yet we know that having a degree in anything leads to higher earnings *over a lifetime*.

I’m not confident AI is being used to maximise whatever it is in education that does that.

As soon as the Portland Frog became a meme, Jewish social media blew up with jokes about the 2nd Passover plague - tzefarde'a (frogs) - and the Rabbinical commentary around it. I knew I had to make a calligraphy piece encompassing all of it. (more in alt.)
