You’ve got to read the whole thread.
Let's recap the timeline for those of you who haven't been following.

Friday: a deportation flight containing 88 Brazilians takes off from American soil. The deportees are handcuffed and bound in leg irons, as is standard practice on such flights. The Americans are flying into a trap.
I swear to God, Lula and Lewandowski have got to be laughing their asses off at the Plantalto that the result of their stunt is a Trump temper tantrum against Colombia.
Exactly what I said on FB yesterday.

This is insane by any measure.
ICE fascists:
•Detained Indigenous American actor Elaine Miles, claiming her "papers look fake"
•Arrested wife of Navy Vet AT HER Green card Interview
•Arrested & kidnapped Brazilian immigrant & mother of Leavitt's nephew
•Arrested, kidnapped,& deported to Honduras a 19-year-old student here legally

If true, the s***’s really going to hit the fan soon.
Creating a military conflict with Venezuela gives this administration a legal "hook" to invoke the Alien Enemies Act. In other words, the foreign war is being manufactured in order to facilitate court deference for its domestic mass deportation policy. It's a Stephen Miller Special.

In the 1970s, factory robots hammered blue‑collar jobs and made cars cheaper for professionals. Many white‑collar folks shrugged. Now AI threatens office work, making services cheaper for blue‑collar consumers. Same movie, different cast. Fairness means seeing both sides.

Just what we need, AI ‘used in elections, policing, and federal agencies.’ What could possibly go wrong?
🚨 NEW: Congress is quietly advancing a major AI regulation package that could reshape how the technology is used in elections, policing, and federal agencies.
The bill is moving through committee at unusual speed, with limited public hearings and growing concerns about transparency.

(Like half of them are shills anyhow but everyone else should quit imo, it's uniformly degrading every day, a farce)
Would it kill somebody to say “Nancy is not stupid.” It pains me to see the WH press corps just accept the abuse. Sends the wrong image to Americans and the world IMHO.

I know this is like ten years too late, and America blew it. But please do this before Farage gets into power, and the US and UK are both firmly on the side of Putin.
🚨BOOM! The Petition calling for a public inquiry into Russian influence on UK politics & democracy has now rocketed past 70,000 signatures! Let’s get it to 100,000 this week. If a petition is what it’s going to take let’s get this done!

It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

How dumb are these people?

Truly.

This coming on the heels of the magistrate judge in Comey’s case skewering Halligan & the FBI for illegal and improper handling of the investigation and indictment.
BREAKING: Prosecutors in the Comey case just told the judge that they’re under orders from the Deputy Attorney Generals’s office not to disclose whether career prosecutors wrote a memo recommending *against* indicting Comey prior to Halligan going to the grand jury.

Of all the terrible things Roberts has done, this was the most shocking stat: "the right-wing majority has used the shadow docket to uphold Trump’s actions roughly 90 percent of the time, repeatedly bailing him out of any obligation to follow the law"
There’s one person squarely to blame for Trump’s corruption, authoritarianism & assault on democracy: John Roberts. He’s enabled so much of Trump’s lawlessness while somehow escaping accountability for it

I find it far more likely, based on past practices, that:
1. They vote for release;
2. DOJ then says they can’t release due to recently announced investigations of Democrats;
3. They maintain that fiction straight through the next elections.
So reporting still suggests that senate republicans will try to bury the Epstein files bill if and or when it passes the house. To that I say, good luck holding that shit sandwich. Let Trump veto it

This is injecting the lede with arsenic, garroting the lede with a rope, setting the lede on fire, thwacking the lede with the back of a hoe, and distributing the remains of the lede over the Pacific Ocean, 250 miles from the nearest coastline
