If your position is that regime change should be forced on countries where the president does not respect democratic norms and regularly kidnaps opponents using an officially sanctioned paramiliatary, have I got news for you about your position on the United States

how spam and AI are fucking package management

How to Ruin All of Package Management

It feels like the Times shifted hard into “actually we will determine reality” mode after 10/7 and never came back. Luigi shit, mayor’s race, now this. Reporting from a world that doesn’t exist, for no one.
Top *eight* articles on NYT devoted to Charlie Kirk, top one asks if he will be remembered like MLK. This is a man who only a tiny percent of Americans had even heard of before his death, whose views are too nasty for NYT to detail. But they are trying so hard to turn into martyr.

RIP GitHub, it was nice while it lasted.
Microsoft is absorbing GitHub into the company and putting it under the purview of Jay Parikh, one of the biggest failsons in valley history. He ran Lacework into the ground then cashed out and went to Meta. Real piece of crap asshole

Maybe the last few days have made more people realize that GitHub is not your friend and not there to facilitate Open Source but to accumulate power for Microsoft. Anything GitHub says or does needs to be understood in that light.

I've tagged filippo.io/bigmod v0.1.0, bringing it up to date with crypto/internal/fips140/bigmod in Go 1.24.

This is the constant time big integer library that backs all of crypto/rsa now, including key generation.

Still less than 700 SLoC + 70 of Avo!

I really appreciate all the hard work done by the #realworldcrypto steering committee and to AWS for stepping up to organise in Seattle in 2027, but I’m going to come out and say it: with the US as it now is, I think this choice of location is a mistake.
Big announcement: RWC 2027 in Seattle! April 5-7 subject to board approval.

Still anxiously awaiting the results to see if my state's election can be so cheaply bought
Elon Musk’s America PAC and Building America’s Future disclosed spending about $17M on Wisconsin’s court race.

Backing the same candidate are billionaire Richard Uihlein and Americans for Prosperity, a dark-money group founded by the Koch brothers.
