Watching a TV show from before the streaming era really is breaking my brain.
21 episode seasons is crazy to me now, they're allowed to have several plotlines, build chemistry between the characters, I don't have to wonder if they're running out of time to tell their story. I miss this.

I was at a punk show in 83 where a skinhead jumped up on stage and gave a Nazi salute.
The bass player hit him with his bass, knocking him into the crowd and 150 people collectively hauled his ass out of the venue and threw him in the mud.

I still think the world can change for the better but I’m no longer confident it can happen online. It will happen via people engaging with their local communities, teaching their kids to read, investing in libraries and public parks. Discovering the joys of a tangible life.
