@lbc.co.uk What is that tedious drivel you have chosen to broadcast? I've jus t listened to the utterly pointless description of Trump going indoors, where your reporter can not see him. Are you under some sort of government or commercial instruction to block any risk of criticism of Trump?

Tory anti abortionist defects to Reform Ltd.
Hardly surprising Reform have welcomed him, but I heard James O'Brien ask, on LBC, if that would have any effect on Reform Ltd's policy.

No, Farage will grift wherever he smells money. Lest we forget observer.co.uk/news/nationa...

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Bad Enoch, fumbling again "The only black hole is the one the rt hon member is digging...".
Nobody digs a black hole, it accumulates matter, dragging in more matter by gravity - in the same way a nation's debt drags in more money in interest payments due to Truss bond disaster

I'm untrusting of people who use phrases like "I voted Remain, but ...", I never trust people who insist they are "not racist, but ...", and, without them presenting an expired party membership card with their name on it, I will never believe "I used to vote Labour, but now I vote Reform Limited".

Going tough on immigration isn’t working. Instead, we must offer real solutions to falling living standards and growing inequality.

Some takeaways from the election losses, in the sincere hope that this will be a period of genuine reflection for our party:

Just because some of our voters switched to Reform, it does not mean that their sole motivation is immigration, argues Nadia Whittome MP.

I am listening to PMQ during your show. Starmer easily batted BadEnoch for the first few questions on local councils. Then Bad Enoch thought she scored with reference to "rubbish piling up in the streets" of Birmingham and some other council - Tory boys brayed .

If you are a Brexit self-flagellator, and feel the need to repent for how you did or didn’t vote then that’s up to you.

But don’t include me and the rest of us in that.

I want a successful and prosperous country and that probably means rejoining the EU or making some improvements ASAP.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social hi James
I admit I listen to BBC Radio Four in the morning until 10:00. That makes me a regular listener to the Today Programme and this morning they spent a lot of time covering the US presidential inauguration. They did not once mention the full blown Nazi salutes.
