Yay!🙂
Yes! Solar Opposites is coming to Netflix UK on 15 December. Finally, another @mikemcmahan.bsky.social masterpiece to watch. It won't make up for the loss of Lower Decks, but it'll help.

Brutal. This alone should end the political careers of those that created Brexit.

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me: two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree. Ate them.

Some don’t understand that demonising refugees& asylum seekers is a red line for any healthy nation. As a group of people, like any other, they include the brilliant, good & bad, but labelling them as lesser humans undeserving of compassion, safety & equality is definitely bad for the whole country.

COVID is a systemic disease that can harm the brain, heart, immune system and more.

Every reinfection increases the risk of Long COVID, chronic illness, disability and even death.

If people understood the real danger, they’d take prevention seriously instead of accepting repeated infections.

Watching the programme *Civilisations: Rise and Fall - Egypt* and wanted to know what in the name of zarking fardwarks are these outfits?

If only there was a way of knowing what Roman legionaries in the late 1st century BC actually wore 🤔

Somewhere in a Roman brickyard, around 1800 years ago, a fresh tile was drying ahead of firing - until a dog trotted straight across it.
Centuries later, the tile has made it into a museum: not because of an emperor, but thanks to one dog who accidentally walked his way into history.🧵1/2

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.

Look at this! For the first time since it was found, partially excavated and dispersed in the 1950s, someone has digitally reconstructed the 6th century mosaic from Qasr el-Lebia in Cyrenacia, Libya. 😮🤯
