This update includes information you may find upsetting. Please take care when reading. From today, it is with a heavy heart that we announce trans girls will no longer be able to join Girlguiding. This is a decision we would have preferred not to make, and we know that this may be upsetting for members of our community. There will be no immediate changes for current young members, but more information will be shared soon. Most adult roles - including unit helpers, district helpers and administrative support - are already open to all, so we are confident that no volunteers will have to leave the organisation. Girlguiding believes strongly in inclusion, and we will continue to support young people and adults in marginalised groups. Over the next few months, we will explore opportunities to champion this value and actively support young people who need us. We stand in solidarity with trans girls and women.

I’m howling.
Recently, Clifford "Buzz" Grambo decided to upgrade his electric scooter. The old one he had purchased online only reached 16 mph and wasn't cutting it anymore. He needed to go faster to keep up with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement cars he chases around Baltimore. So, Grambo bought a Segway MAX G3, which features a 2,000-watt motor and can get up to 28 mph. "The first time I caught up to them, I could tell that they already knew who I was," he told me when we first spoke on the phone in late October. "They had seen me before, so they thought they were just going to speed away. I was like, ha-ha bitches, I got a new scooter!"

Eeeeet c’est encore une énième manif contre un pouvoir illégitime, sourd et aveugle (mais hélas pas muet). Comme d’accoutumée les robocops surarmés sont de sortie, avec ordre de se faire plaisir sur la tonfa. Une bande de petits vieux défile avec des pancartes « cœur ». Jean-Robocop lance à la mamie du devant : « Vous allez roter du sang, bande de TERRORISTES ! » La mamie, interloquée : « Quoi ? » Puis les robocops se mettent à robocoper avec tact (ils tabassent et gazent tout le monde). La mamie, au sol : « Mais on ne fait que marcher pacifiquement dans la rue ! » Dans la dernière case, on retrouve la même mamie, les lunettes à peine désaxées mais désormais vêtue de noir de pied en cape, un cocktail molotov et une barre à mine à la main. Son collègue petit vieux l’interpelle : « Eh bin ? » Mamie répond : « Quitte à se faire gazer, autant se faire plaisir. » [fin]
