others have already spoken at length about the pretense policing excuses here that threaten to nail unhoused people with fines they certainly can’t afford. but i just want to point out one more thing: $250 fine if i feed a magpie? fucking come on
No spitting or using drugs in public, feeding feral cats or birds, protesting in big groups without a permit, or panhandling by roads allowed in the newest version of a draft for public behaviour rules in Edmonton.
