It's this year's Liverpool down to a tee to put on their best, most balanced performance up against a low block all season and still somehow find a way not to win the game. These days can happen, but it's so much harder to justify when you've dropped so many points already.

Wouldn’t hate the idea of Bassey at Anfield. May not quite be a VVD replacement but as a Konate replacement certainly. He’s got the physicality that we sorely need at the back as well as solid premier league experience

Who could have guessed Aston Villa abusing loan to buy with Harvey Elliott could have had consequences? No one is going to enter into a deal with them like that again (e.g. Conor Gallagher) if they think they're going to get cold feet, and potentially tank the asset value of a player. #AVFC #LFC
