This. Completely.

Also, if you can't impress your peers, you go after the younger generation you can impress.
everybody else has rightly pointed out the Obvious Age Problem here, but I'm going to publicly wonder which nonsense of yours women your age picked up on and wouldn't countenance

This looks like it's right off the cover of a Zane Grey novel!

Gorgeous.

PS: Did I ever mention I'm a fan of Zane Grey?

My biggest surprise about this story?

Kash Patel has a girlfriend.
FBI assets currently exist primarily to serve Kash’s social life and calendar. www.ms.now/msnbc/news/k...

That was my first thought.

Or he's replaced his name with those of top Democrats.

We won't be able to believe anything he releases.
Apparently Trump is now calling for the release of the Epstein files, which of course means that they have finished deleting all the evidence that he was complicit.

She forgives him for what, exactly.
Wow. Marge is not playing around.

Peace through strength?

More like peace through violence.
Malcolm Nance said these sound like the titles of porn movies.

A gift to me of lapel pins made from acorn caps with the tiniest tied flies in them. They are soooo freakin' cute! I need to enlarge the pics to see all the details.
Only a few folks know of my budding interest in fly tieing.

They're precious pieces of art.

What does "slip derivatives" even mean in this context for John Q. Public?
All the public knows is that groceries cost more.
Q: When Trump says that grocery prices are down, what numbers is he basing that on, given that's not true?

Top Trump econ advisor: It's one of those things that, very often when people talk about economics, they slip derivatives, as we say. Inflation is way down

Did anyone watch the two cotton farmers on 60 Minutes last night? They're on the brink of disaster but still have hope in the ruling tyrant because "he's a smart man".

Some strong Kool aid south of the border.

Why, US, why?

I sincerely hope we don't have more children die or otherwise be harmed from the measles.

There's no friggin' need in this day and age.

I have been saying this for years - stop the name-calling and tell us what you're going to do for the country.
I'm sick of politicians shouting crap at each other, wasting time with whining, instead of just telling us what their policies are.

Provided they have policies. Otherwise, keep quiet.
“Quite honestly, a lot of times I felt it was part of a frat house rather than a serious political party”
Poilievre &his leadership team, d’Entremont suggested, are more interested in division, anger,& tearing things down than working constructively to try to find solutions &build things up #NeverPP

As a human being, he's a convicted felon (34 times) with the foulest mouth and behavior of anyone I've ever seen in person or on camera. No one has to love him for any g*d darn reason at all.
Dr Oz on the guy who collapsed in the Oval Office: "The president, God bless him, called the wife from the Oval Office giving her updates on how her husband was doing. When you actually know the man as a human being, not as a political actor, you have to love him."

Reminds me of the lecture given by Dr. Jacqueline Duffin about the history of the stethoscope that I did not expect to find so fascinating. So, I'm bookmarking this for later!
The podcast Article of Interest did a fascinating podcast episode on the zipper. It's a complicated piece of technology whose existence is new and not a given - we had plenty of other fasteners - snaps and buttons. And while YKK is now the world's largest zipper maker the zipper was invented in NJ

This picture speaks volumes about the mental and physical state of the tyrant leading the US.
He's got that sad sad look of a lost soul, waiting for instruction on what to do next.

Get him and his minions the hell out of the oval office.
If the history book need a single photo to summarize the Trump administration, this is that photo.

But PP, like other cons, would like to deprive the most vulnerable. Look at D. Smith clawing back the Canada Disability Benefit dollar for dollar from AISH recipients in Alberta. Heaven forbid, they get $200 a month more (which still leaves most at or below poverty levels).
PM Carney on Poilievre’s economic plan: "We can retreat, slash the deficit, hope for the best—wait and see if the trickle-down ever comes. That will gut the support to the most vulnerable Canadians just when they need that support the most. And it won’t grow our economy."

Cool goggles, a balaclava (maybe baklava for later), and proper body gear keep me riding all year round in Nova Scotia. Oh, and studded tires for the slush and ice on the trails.
If I can be badass and ride in the winter, anyone can.

Hiked to a lookout point in the Blue Mountain Birch Cove Wilderness area from Hammonds Plains. Slow 30-40 minute climb for me, 20 minutes on the way back, including time spent on nature's trampoline: moss. 1/2

Somebody remove this man's medical license. He has no business practicing medicine.
Dr Oz: “I think we all agree that Covid has passed”.

No we do not agree!

Anyone who thinks Covid has passed has no business in charge of public health.

It’s still here. It’s still killing and disabling.

Get your booster if you can. Wear a mask (ideally an N95) and clean the air!
