oh yeah, I can’t think too much about how our society utterly wasted the chance to use Covid to make life less shitty, or I’ll go insane
Living in a co-op and working on mutual aid meant I had a pretty great time with the lockdown itself, apart from losing my job
What drained me was having a massive societal shift to give us a window of opportunity - only to fuck it up and make everyone feel like suckers for making sacrifices

I also think people don’t realize what kind of mental health problems someone would go through if they too had no place to live, no support system, food was erratic, good sleep was non existent. Many could not keep up if they lost just one of those things.
