Research shows inhuman conditions at Alligator Alcatraz: overflowing toilets with fecal matter seeping into where people sleep, limited access to showers, exposure to insects, lights on 24 hours, poor quality food and water, and lack of privacy, including cameras above toilets.
New Findings Reveal Human Rights Violations at Florida’s “Alligator Alcatraz” and Krome Detention Centers
These findings confirm a deliberate system built to punish, dehumanize, and hide the suffering of people in detention.

NEW: After The Washington Post reported Monday on the demolition of the "East Wing facade," a new picture obtained by Law Dork that was taken on Tuesday shows that a substantial portion of the entirety of the East Wing has been demolished.

Drug trafficking is not a capital crime; it doesn’t carry a death sentence. I genuinely cannot think of anything under U.S. law that would permit premeditated government assassination of people suspected of drug trafficking.
Here's the video Trump just posted to Truth Social, with the claim that 11 people aboard the boat were killed.

There is zero evidence of self-defense here. Looks like a massacre of civilians at sea.

Even if they had drugs aboard, that's not a capital offense.

As has been made clear before, the claim that everyone at Alligator Alcatraz has final orders of removals is just a straight up lie, point blank.
Edgar, a #DACA recipient who was unjustly imprisoned at the Everglades detention camp, tried to tell mass deportation agents that he has active protections.

"They (ICE) said DACA was canceled [my note: not true], that I would stand no chance in stay in the country.”

Some "Alligator Alcatraz" detainees are DACA recipients and have no criminal history, despite Trump's "worst of the worst" claims

As we have said for weeks, the state of Florida and the federal government refuses so far to show legal agreements giving them authority to detain immigrants at Alligator Alcatraz. This is why people detained there have so far been denied any semblance of a legal process.

Despite the state of Florida claiming that they have an evacuation plan for the Everglades detention center, which is highly relevant in the middle of the state’s hurricane season, no one has actually seen it. Those who ask for it get a similar response to the one below 👇

This is really disturbing. A person detained in the Everglades was handcuffed and left outdoors in the sun as punishment for attempting to go on a hunger strike. As mosquitoes swarmed him, he pleaded with guards to bring him inside and was kept outside for nearly three hours.

The hourly rates paid for by taxpayers to staff the Everglades detention camp are more than what we pay teachers in Florida. Just horrible priorities as usual from our state government.
If you’re wondering how much public money the state is spending to staff this immigrant detention center in the middle of the Everglades, look no further as we have the contract for CRS (Critical Response Strategy). They are the ones “managing” the facility.

The Trump admin said the Everglades detention camp would be for the “worst of the worst.”

Four men sent there so far have nothing on their record other than recent arrests for diving without a license, and were likely only arrested due to racial profiling, as Adam’s excerpt shows.

Instead of “Alligator Alcatraz” or “Alligator Auschwitz”, let me suggest that we call it simply the Dade-Collier Concentration Camp.

Hang the name on Florida. Make them own this disgraceful moment in U.S. history. Make our grandchildren lobby to change the name of Dade County out of shame.

The Secretary of Defense paused arms shipments to a besieged ally without consulting the Commander in Chief.
CNN reports that Trump did not order a halt to U.S. weapons deliveries to Ukraine. After the NATO summit, he tasked DefSec Hegseth with assessing stockpiles. However, the decision to pause shipments was made by Hegseth himself, following a recommendation from Pentagon political chief Elbridge Colby.
