Hello folks! I'm Clementine, and I'm new to the TTRPG scene.

Currently working on Speak Sweet Ichor, a political intrigue game about common people trying to protect their own in a world full of vengeful gods.

I dabble in music and visual art alongside my writing.

Did you know that you can fit ~40 standard sized playing cards, five dice, and a rules sheet printed on the back of a J-card inside a cassette case without posts? Do something with this knowledge.

1. Start designing games for you, not others. I understand it might not be economically viable (whatever that means), but chasing the next big hit will leave you more frustrated than fulfilled.

Game design is more lottery nowadays.

1) This is a thread about non-annihilatory apocalypses and how they fit into my research on RPGs, the Cold War, and nuclear fear in the 1970s/80.

Of course, we start with The Price of Freedom (Greg Costikyan, West End Games, 1986). Those of us of 'a certain age' will vividly recall the controversy!
