Labour : Not that kind of growth. The imaginary kind that comes from 3rd runways, less consumer protection and not solving Social Care.

This more an “are you old” list than a weird one.

19/20 for me as long as the encyclopaedias can be your parents and the Walkman can be Dixon’s own brand Saisho.

I am a little late to this, but I have also requested my name and face to be removed from @cyclinguk.bsky.social publicity due to the decision to remove trans women from their awards.

Trans women are women, gender is on a spectrum (and I did a genetics degree), and cycling is for everyone. 🏳️‍⚧️🚲❤️
Like many others, I am disappointed and angry about the decision by @cyclinguk.bsky.social to change the eligibility criteria for Women in Cycling 2025 to exclude trans women.

Trans women are women 🏳️‍⚧️

I have requested for my name and face to be removed.

Hard facts our Politicians are too cowardly to talk about.
How on earth can Rachel Reeves balance the books? Well, maybe there is a bit of room for taxes to go up, given the vast majority of OECD countries have higher - and in some cases much much higher - taxes on average incomes www.oecd.org/content/dam/...

Earps says there is no bad blood between her and Hampton, yet there have been 2 days of character assassination and sly references about something from 3 years ago. Moans about her MH but no shit given for Hamptons.

Pretty shitty behaviour if you ask me.

So I’m working on a mini home automation project and looking for an ultra bright smart bulb.

Philips do a new line of bulbs that semi-replace the Hue range, called Wiz and they are much cheaper. They also do a wiz 125w equivalent whereas the best Hue is 100w.

Another runway means higher emissions, more flights, and little economic benefit.

Instead of doubling down on airport expansion, the UK should focus on sustainable transport and policies that genuinely grow the economy without destroying the climate.
