Not only is it infuriating that guys like RFK Jr and Dr Oz are destroying public trust in vaccines by falsely linking them to autism, but it's just fucking embarassing that we have those two dipshits in charge of (formerly) prestigious institutions containing some of the top scientists and doctors

If folks haven't read it, I recommend @annaleen.bsky.social's Stories are Weapons, which is unfortunately more and more relevant during this administration. When I started it, I thought, "yeah yeah, I know this." But each chapter was 🤯; well researched analysis of these tactics, recent & historical.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.
