I have two Coway AP-1512HH Mighty Air Purifiers. Very pleased with them over 5 years of running ~ 24/7. Light and easy to move around. Results in measurable AQI change.

Never ever pay full $230 price for it, the prices are frequently lower. And check price for each color, sometimes they vary.

Bad news out of the west Berkeley encampment next to Tesla. Hope this gets resolved before more people get sick. Although, I'd be shocked if they could keep it empty for a full 30 days.

I usually try to ignore neighborhood rats, but I guess I should pay more attention.

What apps do folks like for refreshing language skills in something you used to be ~fluent in but are now rusty as hell?

Folks kept saying duo lingo. I'm not impressed, very redundant. And the ads are ridiculous. I would've paid to try it for a month, but the only option is to pay for a full year.

Worth a listen! Caught part of today's forum with @alexis-madrigal.bsky.social talking with @kzhill.bsky.social, @climatedaddykqed.bsky.social , and others about SLR in the SF Bay Area.

Great #CAwater discussion highlighting how complex planning, mitigation, and adaptation all are.

Do you work on SoCal earthquakes? Are you going to the
@seismosocam.bsky.social meeting?
If so, why not submit an abstract to our session, Southern California Seismicity: Past, Present, and Future!
We want to show work from a range of timeframes & methods! If you think this is you, it probably is!

Abstracts are closing in the next 24 hours, so join our “Seismology for All” session to raise awareness for tools and initiatives that might help those getting into our branch of STEM - excuse the unintentional botanical pun 🪾🍃
Have you got something to share with the seismological community about making STEM more accessible? I’ll be talking about how software developed by @earthquakes.au is helping students and early career professionals analyse data. Join this session at the @seismosocam.bsky.social meeting this April.

In short, we must educate students about both the biological and environmental systems that are operating around them.
And this education should begin in high school and younger grades.
