Just want to share with my American friends how the Australians respond to a shooting tragedy. Action, rather than thoughts and prayers.

I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

In the last month, the FBI has charged players from two different leagues for roles in sports-betting scandals.

Either legalized gambling is exposing corruption that’s always been there.

Or it’s creating it.

Either answer is terrible for sports.

I remember when the waterfront planters along the bike paths were going in and a number of us publicly wondered about the landscaping and maintenance and well…

I was going to post about how amazing it was that I can now ride from Beacon Hill to South Park to Georgetown to downtown almost entirely in PBLs. But instead I’ll post this picture of a guy who smashed into the bike lane seconds after I rolled through:

I waste a lot of time browsing Zillow and don't understand the American preference for larger generic home (3k - 10k sq feet) instead of smaller home with beautiful architecture (1.5 - 3k sq feet)

Spot on. This is the clearest explanation I’ve seen. It ‘s relatable, and humanizes the issue in a way everyone can understand.

I’m hearing this was a 16 year old boy who jumped off his bike out of the way of a driver who ran over it and then sped away. The boy is apparently without it major injuries thankfully. Feeling both really angry, and grateful some dad still gets to hug their kid tonight

seattle personal behavior in public places / cafes /restaurants is shockingly bad + continues to astound me. not even a book of politeness + etiquette could fix the privilege that I see. no amount of good or gracious costumer service can fix either, it's just bad patron behavior.

This was beautiful. And I'm just now realizing how Around The Horn introduced me to several sports people whose voices I appreciate.

ATH = a national treasure and sports talk is lesser for its absence.
A love letter to Around The Horn which came into my life at my worst moments and helped me find my best. Forever grateful to this family.

For me, ‘Around the Horn’ was more than a show
For 23 seasons the iconic ESPN show gave young Black journalists a voice

Went for a walk, looking forward to it.

Planned treats kind of harshed by poor behavior. Multiple smokers 🚬just like hanging out in front of places wafting into stops, multiple dog owners leaving piles of poop 💩 . WTF is wrong with people. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I love Seattle but the people continue to make it hard.

trump’s reaction (or lack thereof) to the attempt on the lives of gov. shapiro and his family ON PASSOVER is why it’s journalism malpractice to credulously report ANYTHING he does as being in service of fighting antisemitism.

jews are pawns in his nazi game and don’t ever get it twisted.
