There are two problem-solving approaches:
1) identify a problem that you want to solve, then find a method that will solve it

2) pick a method you want to use, and go hunting for problems.
The second way is the stupid way, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that it's the default method in tech.

Maybe I’m naive, but I thought web/tech folks were better than to use slurs in attempt to make a joke about tech stacks.
Given the amount of people that still actively use a site owned by a Nazi, I guess not.

This is so spot on. Two things:
1. Being focused on producing output the fastest way possible means that you will never prioritize "going deep"
2. Going deep (and down the rabbit hole) is how you learn more: but you need to balance it.
Figure out how to do both: it's tricky!
