Watching Newsroom again for maybe the 5th time since it aired. I wish I could have seen the play of To Kill a Mockingbird with Jeff Daniels... Might have to watch Studio60 on the Internet archive after and see if it holds up still.

I've been surprised by Ionos (1&1). Had their standard hosting, no cpanel but their admin panel was fine and good customer service. Nice upscale plans, even if you just needed extra for 1 month of heavy traffic.
Since though I switched to their VPS which I've used with CapRover now for years now.

the anthropic drama (tl;dr they blocked third party tools from using claude code subscriptions) is a useful reminder that you use LLMs at the pleasure of the companies providing them
sounds obvious but despite all the AI discourse, i don't see a lot of people talking about the consequences of this

The design decision by @svelte.dev Kit to provide tools for early termination of route execution by calling `error()` or `redirect()` is awesome!
That any code does not continue to execute after these functions are called makes it much more idiomatic and safe to write route handlers

Been using Plex for like a decade but I'm about to make to switch to Jellyfin I think. Plex has gotten better and worse over the years imo.

Nope I've been using one as my main mouse since 1999. From FPS gaming to design software. It is def nice for 3D objects and rotation too, the finger balls were more popularised for that. Ergonomics mostly not having to move your arm and wrists is why I use them.

Yea I've been through lots of different ones including Logitech and always a fan of thumb vs finger ones. Picture of my current one and I really like it, been using it for a few years now.
