The things you believed were right yesterday are still right. They'll be right if they put you in jail. They'll be right if they shoot you. They'll still be right when these people are dead and dusted and gone.

which they will be

one of the things i hate most about this persistent line of argument is the implication that any of these actions would be fine if groceries were cheaper

Where’s the same focus on lowering costs?

Best thing I’ve read this morning, from a human rights lawyer in Mexico. Translation is in the ALT-text.

Maybe instead of committing atrocities, we could just make the rich pay their fair share and have universal healthcare and affordable housing instead.

Idk, just spitballing here.

Absolutely have to love when the students will stand up in a way the administration has absolutely zero interest in taking part in. Proud of the students writing this.

Hey. Fuck these guys (specifically referencing the pseudo-gestapo idiots trying to chase a dude on a bike while running for literally no discernible reason). Thanks for attending my TED Talk.

Everyone has one Mitch Hedberg joke stashed in their brain like a squirrel to sustain them whenever they need to feel joy for 30 seconds and mine is “they say the recipe for Sprite is Lemon and Lime but I tried to make it at home, there’s more to it than that”

According to Barron’s, Elon Musk’s wealth increased by almost $200 billion between November 5 and December 20. That means he could give $250,000 to every homeless person in the US and still be as rich as he was on November 5.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. saw an 18.1% increase in homelessness this year, with more than 770,000 people counted as homeless.

Sitting at dinner and listening to the extremely loud group next to us talk about politics...the amount of misinformation and rationalizing is disheartening. The idea of autocracy being openly accepted in a public setting should scare us all. This is why the fight can never stop!

I feel like I really need to watch Dune 2/Dune Part 2/Dune Electric Boogaloo or whatever it's called before Saturday to get all the Timothée Chalamet jokes.

Yes I did have to Google him to make sure I spelled that right. He might have to Google what college football is so I think we're even.
