To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?

I did not detect any actual full-throated denial from Donald J. Trump here, while he throws Bill Clinton under the bus.
Trump: Epstein and I had a very bad relationship for many years. You have got to find out what did he know with respect to Bill Clinton… all those people that knew including JP Morgan Chase..

Reporter: If there is nothing incriminating in the files, why not—

Trump: QUIET! QUIET!

As someone working in a milieu where the boss encourages its use, I can attest that it has been pushed out well ahead of human intellect's ability to call bullshit on it. AI isn't just a high-end plagiarism machine; it's a perfect blandifier of human existance.
New hip insult you'll be hearing everywhere soon:
"Was this made by Al?"

Especially effective when mentioned while watching a film (especially a big budget one) or listening to the new release of a song (preferably by a big pop star).

It's imperative to note that Ukraine's aggressive tactics seek to hinder Russia's capacity to wage war against them, while Putin's Russia targets the Ukrsinian civilian population in residential areas as a matter of course. #SlavaUkraini

I know some of you are dumbstruck at the recent Epstein "revelations" but that's what not paying attention gets you. (Hint: read @sarahkendzior.bsky.social) Meanwhile, S1E3 of Plur1bus missed the mark. Carol is just as snarky, but suddenly slow-witted. WTF? Discuss!!!!

BlueSky could have shared a screenshot of my tweet showing the Oct 10 timestamp and that I was using Johnny Cash lyrics to quote-tweet about an article on Johnny Cash. Instead, they made it look like I issued a random death threat and falsely claimed I posted it this week. They should apologize.

Pleased to report the account of @sarahkendzior.bsky.social has been duly re-instated. Now is a great time to reread the chapter on Epstein in her eye-poppingly good book, They Knew.
Jeez, Bluesky, time to recalibrate the 'ol suspension machine. I posit this was an AI-created fiasco. Now @safety.bsky.app please undo this excellent journalist's unwarranted suspension!
Since Bluesky gets to control the convo and Sarah can't post while she's suspended, here's her side of things:

I feel for her but it's pretty clear the orange cones were placed to indicate that traffic needs to go around that spot. We really need to educate all people better on the highway code, not just licensed drivers.

And this is her focus right now, which is laudable. But certainly some bone-headed premiers aren't doing their bit.

I Write Therefore I Learn
AI is killing the college essay as more professors ditch robot-written papers for in-class exams. So now even fewer students are being taught to write well (an energy intensive task!).

Students lose out, bc good writing = good thinking: a training of the brain towards structure, style & substance.

So Lutnick, Pulte implicated... it's starting to look like being in these Epstein files was a prerequisite for getting tapped for a Cabinet position. Hence the depth of the cover-up?
Late billionaire developer William Pulte referred to here is the grandfather of Bill Pulte.

Bill Pulte is director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and chair of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac under Trump. He is behind the mortgage fraud charges against Trump adversaries like Letitia James.
The Kremlin disguised a nearly $100 mn payment to Trump in the form of a brokered real estate deal... and both Jeffrey Epstein and William Pulte were involved in the deal. That's very interesting.
