@voltnederland.org Ik lees in jullie programma dat jullie voorstander zijn van eurobonds. Is dat slim gegeven dat het bij de Fransen maar niet wil doordringen dat ze hun economische beleid op zaken moeten stellen?

Cancer Research UK today published a report which highlights changes in cancer survival rates over the last 50 years.

Many headlines (like this one from the Guardian) have chosen to report the ‘doubling of cancer survival rates’ since the 1970s.

But that's misleading...

In March 2024, on most days, Bluesky hosts more posts linked to research published in 2025 than X.

By quite a lot.

An Ode to Yorkshire

They call it God's own Country. Among the stereotypes of England, it ranks up there with Shakespeare, Dickens, Tea & Biscuits, top hats and a very particular brand of dentistry.

Why Yorkshire? Isn't this account about Attention Scores and Memes?

Couple of reasons.

I learned a couple of things just from this one post 🤓
As I drove from VSFB to LA today I had ample time to think about emergent behaviors, and how non-intuitive they can be. Freeways are weird but can be modeled as arteries carrying thixotropic fluid. Central control would likely get rid of a lot of backups: Maxwell’s Daemon of traffic. 🧪⚛️

While Bluesky looks like other social apps on the surface, it’s actually quite different. It’s an open network.
