Dolly Parton currently sends a new book to 2.2 million children every month. The number has steadily increased for years. It's in honor of her parents, who were illiterate. She works with hospitals. Many people have told us they had no idea the books would come. They are addressed to the child.
Dolly Parton has sent my daughter a new book every month for years as she does for thousands of children. She help fund the development of the Covid vaccine. She’s not a billionaire. I think as non wealthy people it’s hard to even imagine how much billionaires *could* be doing with their money.

After a decade of desaturated emo murderers, Superman is an absolute delight. Very possibly the best Superman movie, and unambiguously the most shamelessly, joyously comic-booky live-action superhero film.

And there it is. The Republican plan to cut $700 billion from Medicaid and kick millions off their health insurance. If there's one thing I've learned during my time in Congress, it's that when you come for people's health care, you'll have hell to pay. This time will be no different.

The legislation includes work requirements, stricter eligibility checks, citizenship verification and new limits on federal funding for Medicaid to states. It met swift Democratic opposition.

Tow headed white boy walks over, reads it silently, nods slowly.

This exchange is so very telling.

Trump repeatedly claims the photoshopped MS-13 on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's knuckles is real, Terry Moran keeps telling him it isn't, prompting Trump to say this:

"I never heard of you. I picked you. You’re not being very nice. He had MS-13 tattooed... Just say yes!"

I know we all want to be concise, but we simply cannot use the shorthand terms of the fascists when they describe wildly illegal & unconstitutional things.

Extrajudicial renditions. Kidnappings. Wildly unconstitutional fascism. All right there as options.

We are selling the tech that allow Russian and North Korean missiles to hit Kyiv. But Trump won’t give or even sell Zelens’kyi the defensive tech needed to stop them.
🔴 Zelenskyy says the missile that killed 12 in Kyiv had 116 foreign-made parts—most from U.S. firms.

The missile was likely North Korean. He blames weak pressure on Russia and Pyongyang for enabling such attacks.

I just landed in San Salvador a little while ago, and I look forward to meeting with the team at the U.S. embassy to discuss the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia.

I also hope to meet with Salvadoran officials and with Kilmar himself. He was illegally abducted and needs to come home.
