I can't get on board with the whole "let the idiots suffer under their new administration" placation. It doesn't feel good watching people get their comeuppance when they'll still blame the wrong parties responsible.

Shit talk by the "do-nothings" is perennial. No matter what you say or do, someone's gonna take issue with it. Step one of getting any actual work done is tuning out the pedants and performatives who would derail any effort. Focus on action-oriented folks who share a vision of a real future.
The Tumblr-ification of leftist politics has left a lasting mark where people are way more concerned about having the "correct" set of takes that can't be judged than actually doing any political work
