The International AIDS Society had a 20-year boycott of the United States as a venue for their conference, because of the US travel ban on HIV-positive people. I promise you any international society that cares about access for its members can locate meetings elsewhere.
Scholarly orgs based in the U.S. that purport to be "international" are going to need to come to terms with what it means to continue holding their in-person gatherings in a country many people cannot travel to or no longer feel safe visiting for all kinds of reasons.
