Crime in DC is out of control. Specifically the 20500 zip code, where crimes against interior and exterior decorations are rife. An orange man has been described by witnesses as always in the area when the felonious acts are being perpetrated.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the Corbyn stuff. I never wanted to have to re litigate it but since he’s back attempting leadership of sorts & replicating similar patterns of passive discrimination towards trans people, I wanted to vocalise the heart of what my issue with him is & why it still hurts

The Public Is Resisting Trump. The Elites Aren’t.
The president is encountering little resistance as he remakes our society. And yet polling is clear that voters aren’t with him.

For those who have forgotten, in 1953, the USA and UK led a coup d'état in Iran which overthrew the democratically elected secular PM Mohammad Mosaddegh—to install the autocratic rule of the shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and thereby protect British oil interests in Iran.

Yes. Good idea.
Let's get sucked into a war not of our own making.
We'll be caught in the middle and won't be able to get out.
Prepare for the terrorist attacks on key British cities.
London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol.
And of course, Clacton on Sea.

Um...actually King George's government was also a constitutional government!
He just had more power than today's King.
But he still couldn't just to as he liked.
Couldn't become a Catholic for one thing...
Judge: The president is of course limited to his authority. That's the difference between a constitutional govt and King George! It's not that the president says something and it becomes it. Otherwise they become something other than a constitutional officer.

Have reporters looked into whether this also violates state laws?
When Musk's minions forced their way into USAID's servers, they made themselves "super administrators" meaning they had access to workers' Social Security numbers, credit histories, and home addresses.

They may have well broken the law.

I'm a UK graduate. I did all my schooling in the UK, undergraduate & postgraduate.

But I wasn't born here.

I came to this country as a child refugee.

If you have a shortage of doctors now, it's not the fault of immigrants.

It's because of immigrants you have any health service at all.

Do better
Not only does this sound like yet another "migrants taking our jobs" rant, not only does it show a complete lack of engagement with the reality of the situation, it also shows that Streeting has no idea what "remittances" are. The anti-immigration "brain drain" myth has been debunked for years.

We can’t just sit back and hope Trump won’t hit us with tariffs. He’s proven time and again how unpredictable he is.

Trump doesn’t care who gets hurt, he’ll use people's businesses and livelihoods as leverage. We must stand together against his attempts to divide us.
