Inuit communities and Inuit voices and votes matter. Ottawa shouldn't just be about photo op cameos and Northern sovereignty speechifying.
'I lost my legal right to vote': Booths closed early — or didn't open at all — in some Nunavik villages | CBC News
CBC has heard from residents in at least five Nunavik villages who say booths closed hours early, or didn't open at all.

people only become left handed if the mirror baby crawls out when nobody is looking and pushes the normal baby into the mirror dimension. it’s a sign of bad parenting

The bonkers thing about having my top surgery date become an actual tangible thing is that only now is the CONCEPT of surgery absolutely terrifying.

I've broken several bones, and had 2nd degree burns cover 20% of my body, but I've never needed stitches or general anesthesia.

He promised 100 cops and 100 nurses.

He delivered 200 cops.

Homelessness went up. Homeless people dying increased by 23%.

Only supportive housing (which he just cancelled) reduces crime and people living on the street in the long term

It's WILD to me that people who used to publicly dunk on anti-maskers now won't even wear one when they go out in public with cold and flu symptoms.

Highly recommend the new Scott Pilgrim anime - I feel like it expands the source material in such a satisfying way!

I took these readings before and after a morning matinee at Landmark Cinema in New Westminster, and the theater was less than half full.

1499ppm is not great, especially during flu season (and during a Covid wave)

You’re either disabled or pre-disabled. Currently vulnerable or becoming more vulnerable. This was true before COVID and is more salient now. And at all stages of this process, we would all benefit from a culture that pursues risk mitigation, community care, accessibility, and disability justice.
I wish abled people understood that the next step to "only vulnerable people with comorbidities die of covid, you'll be fine."

Is something like "only people who had covid might die of flu this year, you'll be fine."

Just no understanding that you can become vulnerable, and be written off in turn.
