I’m only a cat lady because i moved in next to a colony of ferals. I’m not, like, officially a cat lady ok? but what if I had three cats? That’s clearly a perfectly reasonable amount of cats. Going from no cats to three cats is fine. They don’t even really count as three. One is very small.

Piggybacking on this to say the best thing I’ve ever learned from people on social media is “disabled dishes”. Can’t scrub? Barely have the energy to move, let alone do dishes?
Put them in the dishwasher without scrubbing them. Just stick them straight in. If any don’t come out clean, repeat wash.

Friendly reminder that dishwashers made after 1995 or so are so water and energy efficient that even if you ran them twice fully loaded it would still use less water than handwashing the same load.
