It’s Election Day & I just heard someone ask in all sincerity “Who’s Mamdani? He’s the Democrat? I thought it was Cuomo?” so please go vote, NYC! This is really, really not in the bag for Mamdani despite the polls!

I don’t know who needs to hear this (yes I do), but a nepo baby is when someone easily enters the same industry as a famous parent using that parent’s name or connections. (Like the name Cuomo, for example.) It’s not just “had a successful parent who remains unaffiliated with your chosen field.”

“At some point” is telling, but I’m more focused on @chrismurphyct.bsky.social referring to “the opposition” as other people. The Dems are now just admitting they’ve abandoned us.
He's telling us what he's doing. Using the military to suppress protest. At some point the opposition needs to listen to him and adjust strategy.

We’re seeing in real time the costs of our education system (mostly) teaching WW2 as it related to American history only. Many of us learned about Pearl Harbor, the holocaust, and how we saved the day & unless we decided to learn about pre-1939 Germany on our own, that’s about it.
Dear American citizens, whatever you wish more German citizens would have done in 1933, do that now.
