Some nights we sign off with hope and inspiration.
Tonight, we sign off with anger and betrayal.
To the senators who caved... twice... May you have the night you deserve.
And to the rest of you...
Rage, rage against the dying of the light
Night, folks 💚

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

U.S. 📻 played us the wrong Chumbawamba song!
🎶 The world is riddled with maggots;
the maggots are getting fat
They're making a tasty meal of the bosses & bureaucrats
They're taking over the boardrooms; they're fat & full of pride
& they all came out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died 🎶

Joanna Ho and Caroline Kusin Pritchard, authors of THE DAY THE BOOKS DISAPPEARED, had their elementary school author visit canceled when they arrived and students were waiting for them.
Why? Because they wouldn't *not* talk about book bans–inspiration for their book.

My cat's twin spirit.
I'm an atheist but my version of heaven is indoors a spacious but sparse mid-century modern hotel room with vegetarian room service and outside would be Sea Ranch, CA. The closest I can get in real life is becoming a permanent guest at the Stanford Inn in Mendocino, CA with their restaurant Ravens.
