shameful that @massgovernor.bsky.social has the power to end this 287(g) contract and refuses to do it

Luis Perez served his time and he deserves to be with his family

Massachusetts should not work with these fascists in ANY capacity
Inside ICE’s Only Contract with a Blue State - Bolts
As part of a 287(g) contract between state officials and ICE, Massachusetts continues to release prisoners into deportation—even as state lawmakers look to ban other forms of ICE collaboration.

What U do matters.
And U can't do everything.
And the fact remains that it's essential that, in addition to reporting news, that some of us find ways to hold gov officials accountable.
And some of us need to find ways to broadcast truth beyond the group of high info liberals who consume most truth.
LISTEN: There are a lot of folks out here working tirelessly to get the truth out there. Replying to us that nothing matters because there'll be no consequences is not only incorrect, but it belittles the work we do. It's insulting and shortsighted. Stop following us if you don't want the info.

Always remember that If they build the camps, they will fill the camps.
In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:

- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown

This is unprecedented.

These regular interviews w/Trump supporters are interesting but limited, revealing what people think based on what they know, which may not be comprehensive. How about asking these folks to look at and comment on video, images, and other documentation of the crimes of the Trump administration?

Abolish and prosecute ICE.
ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”

What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.

Folks, if you’re here on Bsky (looks like you are), and you also have a Ring camera doorbell, then for the love of [fill in whatever matters most to you here], go rip that muthah outta your wall this instant.

Bc otherwise, you’re about to be a narc for ICE, DHS, CBP, PD; maybe Palantir; who knows?
Seen the Super Bowl Ring Camera ad?

It’s re: their “Search Party” system. Which they are offering to everyone at absolutely NO cost. My!

(Doesn’t Ring freely send people’s feeds to police and…other agencies?)

But, hey: free! It saves doggos! That’s all it does! Promise!

I talked w/ uniformed health workers about their deployments to prisons where ICE holds immigrants.

ICE's operation is especially secretive at Guantanamo -- the place where America flouted its own rules to torture detainees post 9/11.

Public Health Workers Are Quitting Over Assignments to Guantánamo
Doctors, nurses, and other officers are increasingly being deployed to ICE detention centers. Some have resigned in protest, while others offer a rare look into bleak conditions.

Trump has deported 400,000 people, claiming they’re all the “worst of the worst.” But CBS is reporting that less than 14% had violent criminal records. Once again: they’re just targeting people indiscriminately and causing chaos just for the hell of it.

Not for nothing, these are the things that white supremely., capitalism, and the venture-capitalist industrial complex want to take from us.

Don’t let them. Take a humanities course. Support the arts. And if you’re a STEM person? Fight for your colleagues.

Tear gas is banned in international warfare, yet classified as a “riot control agent” that law enforcement can use for crowd control.
