How did Katie Wilson win?

You've got this Katie!!!

The Harrell campaign/PAC generally didn't even bother trying to say her ideas are bad (outside of lying about them), just that she's so inexperienced she won't be able to implement them. Once she's in office she absolutely has a mandate to go full speed ahead and prove them wrong.

We are in Seattle and PSE just came and disconnected our gas line from the pipe under the sidewalk. So unfortunately there's still a gas line right out front, but it isn't coming into our house anymore. I assume they must be required to disconnect for free or they wouldn't do that.

I was torn between the two but the fact that there's a decent chance Girmay will try to take out Bob Ferguson is a point in his favor in my opinion.

I think we can’t overstate: a new generation of pragmatic, experienced, driven *Progressive* leaders is rising in #waleg with a clear goal: Do big things. Make Washington Better. Don’t be afraid.

And this cycle the voters have told us: keep going. We like what we see.

Oh absolutely not, the vast majority left to count should be election day drop box.

I lived on Capitol Hill for 10 years and never saw a line at the drop box like we saw videos/pictures of on Tuesday. I feel pretty good that progressives did show up late, but of course nothing is certain.

I'm not personally tracking in any formal way but am following @katherinemitchell.bsky.social who is.

She won 65% of the Friday drop in the primary.

Thursday drop. Wilson trails Harrell by 9,908, 5.7%. The gap begins to close.

We are apparently STILL not into a drop box sample yet, or only including some drop box data. There's a TON of votes expected to lean Wilson out there.
