Here, to my knowledge, was the city’s last hand recount, in 2015 between Lisa Herbold and Shannon Braddock for city council. Nine votes changed, all of them write ins reclassified as under votes. Herbold and Braddock’s tallies remained the same.

Many races on the King County ballot, including for the mayor of Seattle, are within one percentage point of each other. Please verify that your ballot was counted, and if not, you can “cure” your ballot to ensure that it counts.
You have to send this link to everyone you know who voted I Seattle: info.kingcounty.gov/kcelections/... It takes like 30 seconds to make sure your vote was counted. Folks on here have all seen this probably, but your friends and family might not have!

For those watching the Seattle mayoral election, which could be headed for a hand recount: In 2015, when the campaign for City Council District 1 was subject to a recount, the results didn't change by a single vote.

Seattle's Mamdani is winning by an absurdly small margin over our incumbent mayor, who once pulled a gun on a pregnant woman in a parking lot.

Hi, 1 sec - PNW politics
I hope this reaches at least one or two Seattle peeps whose votes were challenged

If you voted in the most recent election, double-check to see if they've challenged your vote.

While the upcoming votes likely favor Wilson, we are at a difference of _91_ votes outta 270,000

SEATTLE ELECTIONS UPDATE: Progressive challenger Katie Wilson has pulled ahead of incumbent Bruce Harrell by just 91 votes, or 0.04%. About 6,400 ballots are left to be counted, which means the margin will likely remain very small, but Wilson has an edge. A machine recount is almost certain.

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

Updating my plot on Katie Wilson's latest numbers compared to previous races. Progressive vote share sometimes drops a little in the last few percent, but it's extremely unlikely that it's enough to reverse her lead at this point.

I hope every elected Dem politician who automatically endorsed Harrell before he even had a credible challenger takes a moment to reflect on these results. Harrell was still sending out mailers with Pramila Jayapal's picture on them right up til election day despite the fact she later dual-endorsed
