I don't think there can be the slightest doubt that Australians dodged a giant bullet at the election. The good news is that the results show a very large number of Aussies recognised the danger & responded accordingly. It's also yet another vindication of our compulsory voting system. #auspol
Dutton is a man whose malice was mistaken for intelligence, stubbornness mistaken for discipline.

In the end, he had neither.

He was what he always seemed to be: a thug who damaged his own party in unprecedented ways & who would have done the same to the country had he had a chance.
