Here is a list of town halls taking place next week that you should show up at. I am sorry, I mean Chuck Schumer’s book parties. If there are any missing, please add in the replies. The only thing he should be doing today is cleaning out his office.

There was no reason to cave on the CR. Musk and Trump are already dismantling the government.

Now we’ve given them a blank check to do more.

My two cents: we don’t abandon the Democratic Party. We remake it. It’s a good party. It just has bad leadership.

@schumer.senate.gov GROW A SPINE! If we ever needed you to stand up against tyranny, it is NOW!
Schumer’s decision is an unconscionable surrender that shows he does not have what it takes to meet this moment, and the charade he pulled yesterday makes it even worse. Time for new leadership in the Democratic Party.

The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

White House pauses all federal grants, sparking confusion
The Trump administration has put a hold on all federal financial grants and loans, affecting tens of billions of dollars in payments.

They are excellent points. I especially like the one that tells Democrats to stop attacking each other.
