Saw a weirdo at the stl zoo wearing a shirt that said “spay and neuter all liberals.” Very normal and appropriate thing to wear to a zoo full of children. Also a zoo that is free due to being funded by our property taxes.

It’s actually the opposite of trickling down. My apartment is a 70s motel that was converted into apartments. New owners started advertising it as “luxury” and charging luxury prices. When I moved in 3 years ago my rent was $1614 for a 2 bedroom. It’s now over $1800 a month with zero improvements.
