Our local WalMart has frozen Shady Brook Farms turkeys for 84 cents a pound. Got a 12 pound one, which seemed to be the smallest they had. Initially, had intended on getting a fancier turkey from Whole Foods, but couldn't turn down that price.

Large deer just wandered through the yard. Went back into the woods behind the chicken coop. The ladies were pretty curious about it. I went out to check and it bounded off. Hopefully it won't return to snack on my plants.
