This is so simple and elegant to comprehend and practice. The world would be both kinder and, counterintuitively, braver if we all stopped to consider the 3-Question Rule of Emotional Intelligence before speaking (or posting):

I’ve been in or around politics for over a half-century now.

I’ve watched as corporations and the super-rich flooded D.C. with campaign cash and ransacked our system.

It won't be easy, but here’s how we break the corporate oligarchy and return power to the people.

This is my kind of good trouble.
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

NEW: Mr. Abrego's lawyers believe that the lies DOJ told in the civil case warrant immediate dismissal in his criminal case. My latest: www.muellershewrote.com/p/more-evide...
More Evidence Submitted to Dismiss the Charges Against Kilmar Abrego
Friday night, we learned that the DOJ lied about the door being closed to Costa Rica. Mr. Abrego's lawyers feel that's enough to immediately dismiss on vindictive and selective prosecution grounds.

„Quiet, Piggy!“ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
It‘s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

Oops...
Holy shit. So Elon decides it would be nice to know what region of the world people are posting from. So they add that little feature.
2 hours later they figure out that many Trump supporters with millions of followers are posting from other countries. Surprise!
That "feature" is now gone.

i wonder how much of Americans' views on driving vs. transit would change if they had to pay for gas/insurance/etc every time they turned on the engine

"i'm not paying $5 to take the train to work twice a day when i can just drive" is a genuine opinion held by so many people

This is forthright and proactive patriotism and leadership.

This is NOT treason, or sedition, or terrorism, disloyalty, or un-American...

...but we all know what is.
A lot of disinformation is circulating about what Senators/Representatives Slotkin, Kelly, Crow, Deluzio, Goodlander, and Houlahan actually said. Here is the transcript. It contains no accusation that the President issued unlawful orders, no call to disobey lawful orders, and no advocacy of mutiny.

Trump: Trump Fast Delivery Company, I mean the US State Department, at your service, Mr. Putin, sir.

King: According to Secretary Rubio, this plan is not the administration’s position — it is essentially the Russians’ wish list that is now being presented to the Europeans and to the Ukrainians.

Rigged, bought, and wholly owned by the wealthy and powerful.

Americans have for too long been sold the snake oil of capitalism as the perfect economic system, as the panacea for all that ails the world, this country, and all of us.

It's time we wake up and realize what we have let them do to us.
Amazon announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year. UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year. Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M. This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

Sadly, even those who didn't vote for this monster must still share in the pain he and his cohort are inflicting on our nation and even on his own supporters.
Tyson Foods announces that they’ll be closing a major beef-processing plant in Lexington, Nebraska with 3,200 employees.

Lexington has a population of 11,205.

Nebraska overwhelmingly voted for the orange felon over VP Kamala Harris.

I hope they’re enjoying their vote.

When people are forced to choose between paying rent, feeding their family, or seeing a doctor, our society has failed.

We need a system that guarantees universal access because life and health are not negotiable.

Anything less is injustice dressed up as policy.

Tp me, this is America at its finest.

An America that values beauty, art, intelligence, and honest emotion.

An America that realizes that we are all connected and that our culture is a multifaceted jewel of diverse backgrounds and journeys.

An America that recognizes a shared sense of community.

Accurate accounting of each and every crime.

Acknowledgement of the full effect they've had on us, our fellow Americans, our communities, our democratic institutions, our entire nation, and the whole world.

Consequences, when warranted, and, ultimately, reconciliation and healing as a nation.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.
