Trump could have ended the slaughter in Gaza a very long time ago. He chose not to because Netanyahu is his friend. Instead of an award for peace he’ll go down in history as one of the worst war enablers. Despots for sure.

LG: Do you accept you damaged the economy?
MV: No.
LG: Are you saying Brexit has been good for business?
MV: It's created opportunities.
LG: What about all the evidence?
MV: You need to come up north.

I've just realised why Rightwing Media is so desperate to get rid of Keir Starmer as Prime Minister.
1) He is very competent, & getting lots done. They hate that.
2) RIshi Sunak: 620 days
Boris Johnson: 1139 days
Theresa May: 1107 days

Keir Starmer: 536 days so far 😉

Scary isn’t it.
Unfortunately it seems that the daily onslaught by the media of Labour/Govt bad, Farage/Reform good, works with some people. Bit like the Trump thing in US & look what that has led to. 😱

Finally!!! They've been in power for 19 months and have been pretty busy starting to fix the damage done by 14 years or Tory misrule, they're not bloody miracle workers. How about reporting on what they've achieved to date, which is around 60% of manifesto pledges delivered or in progress.

He gave Aron Banks and Farage £8 million for the various Leave EU campaigns.
Can we get something straight?

Putin did influence the Brexit referendum.

That's a fact.

The question remains, to what degree were those efforts effective?

Given the tiny margin...Putin's interference could easily have made the difference.

There are now seven countries powered entirely by renewable energy.

Albania, Bhutan, Nepal, Paraguay, Iceland, Ethiopia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo—generate over 99.7% of their electricity from hydro, geothermal, solar and wind.

Global energy transition is happening and unstoppable.

The anti-UK people are ramping up their attacks I see. Those who want Labour to fail, want a stop to workers rights, free meals for schoolchildren, no swift bricks in new builds, no public ownership of rail, no offshore wind farms, want all failed asylum seekers to just be allowed to work illegally.

Urging Trump to destroy the BBC is unforgivable. Truss, Badenoch & Farage would rather betray this country than offer the BBC or the British government their support against a narcissistic foreign liar and a threat to democracy. It’s an appalling betrayal.

I understand the doctors frustration after 14 years of Tory cruelty toward them.

Labour has given them a 30% pay rise with more rises to come and they are ongoing discussions with regards other grievances they have with regards training and working conditions.

I cannot support this strike.

I agree with your critique. But having previously supported the Drs strikes I strongly disagree with this strike and the recent attitude of BMA officials. Wes has Don more for Dr's and nurses in 1 Yr than has been done in the past 14yrs. He's been honest with them of what is possible right now.
