I hope "echo chamber" doesn’t become one of those terms that loses its meaning from overuse. It’s natural to surround yourself with people you agree with. The issue arises when you entirely isolate yourself from those who even lightly challenge your beliefs.

When my kid turned eighteen, we cried in relief, because we thought we'd lose them to suicide before that point. We have fought so hard for society to respect who they are, and for their right to exist. Contact your representatives. Include and care for your trans neighbors. Don't be a bystander.
