Signaling the upcoming federal adoption of flawed definitions of antisemitism that strongly curtail the ability of Australians to voice criticism of Israel, without being deemed as breaking laws on hate crime, and banning "mass protests" to prevent "disharmony".

What a crock of shit

Americans will do anything to avoid the metric system
a single tomahawk cruise missile is about 9 to 15 penises and is only usable once

a single F-35 is 550 to 727 penises
Dr Oz: "The creation of a penis costs on average in America $150,000 per child ... if you add testicles, that's extra"

Man trying to get people to forget about and move on from caring about Jeffrey Epstein's elite pedo ring shockingly turns up in the latest batch of photos from the Epstein files. It's always the ones you most suspect.
David Brooks, who wrote in the NYT last month, "The Epstein Story? Count Me Out" is... in the latest Epstein photo dump published by @oversightdemocrats.house.gov.

He should absolutely be fired by NYT for this. Major conflict of interest that he didn't disclose.

Will the Murdoch empire come under these revised criteria. I fucking hope so. Decades spent fostering hate and division in Australia
December 18, 2025 at 8:32 AM
This is going to apply to groups that target the lgbtqia+ community, non-white migrants to Australia, and other religions like Islam too right? It's not just going to be a special extra layer you're adding just for what is decided to be antisemitic, by an apparently flexible definition, surely?
For a generation, organisations that exist to promote hate in Australia have been allowed to skate by just below the threshold where the courts can take action.

We’re changing that threshold.
December 18, 2025 at 7:34 AM
So you're also going to equally apply this level of enhanced protection to other groups that are widely and publicly discriminated against by people trying to stay just on the legal side of the line when they make public statements of hate, right @tonyburkemp.bsky.social? #auspol

I don't care if it won't pass the Senate, this is a grim indictment of how propaganda against us is working. Sentencing children to death should be career ending for a politician and instead people are cheering for it.

Those Democrats should <User has been banned for TOS violation>
Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

Shockingly, this bill would have failed were it not for the 3 Democrat defections.

I'm not normally much of one for listening to an entire album in full track order digitally, but I do make an exception for this one. Bonus vibes listening to it back after seeing @rentstrike.bsky.social live down in Tassie (twice) a couple of weeks ago

I remember when the whole "no go areas of London" "constant knife crime you wouldn't believe" stuff started coming out of the US, I looked at the actual figures and the rate of knife crime was lower in London than New York, and that's without even addressing gun crime.
London is the safest city I’ve ever lived in. Every other American I know that lives here feels the same way simply by virtue of the lack of gun violence.

Any pundit or public figure (often taking gulf $) trying to paint this city as crime-ridden is plainly wrong and probably lying to you.
The number of murders in the capital in the first nine months (1st January to 30th September) of 2025 is the lowest since monthly records began and represents a fall of almost 60 per cent compared to 2003.
