Republicans are ready to deliver for the American people:
✔️Pass border legislation that we can take credit for
✔️Accelerate climate change by moving carbon out of the ground and into the air
✔️Wreck the economy through mass deportations and tariffs

@rogermarshallmd.bsky.social This man seems a bit confused. Did people really elect him?
Sen. Roger Marshall: "It seems very disingenuous for the Democrats to be blaming President Trump for these rural hospital struggles. The reason rural hospitals are struggling is because of the bad economy."

Really, @rogermarshallmd.bsky.social ??? Ice cream is healthy? And dyes were only culprit? Maybe nutrition wasn’t offered during your medical studies.
I’ve come to realize that the entire MAHA movement is just grown ass adults tricking themselves into thinking that junk food is healthy because a random dye was removed.

New bombshell from my investigators on Epstein's sex trafficking operation: the Trump administration has an Epstein file detailing 4,725 wire transfers and almost $1.1 billion flowing through just one of his banks. Hundreds of millions more through others.

Van Hollen: "The real problem is Republicans refuse to ask billionaires to contribute more to the overall good of the country ... they have an obsession with giving tax cuts to very rich people and big corporations and everything else is sacrificed for that cause."

Ending Medicaid to build concentration camps
This isn’t just a bill.

It’s a fundamental restructuring of American society in which the poor are abandoned, and “immigration jails” outrank healthcare.

Billions taken from one and given to the other.
Judd Legum explains 7 of the things in Trump's megabill:
1. Cuts $930B from Medicaid
2. 16M lose health ins
3. Slashes food asst for poor families by $186B
4. Lower incomes for bottom 40% of families
5. Increases deficit by $3.3T
6. $45B for new immigration jails
7. Billions for defense contractors

Fortunately, I have trained my Kansas constituents to know that I will scrupulously ignore them, so I never wind up on lists like Hillary's below.
If one of these people is your senator, it is incredibly important that you call them today.

Urge them to vote NO on the Senate budget bill that would make most Americans poorer to give billionaires a tax cut they don't even need.

Just awful: A 75-year-old man just died in ICE custody, ICE has revealed in a notice to Congress.

But here's the rub: This man, a Cuban national, was first paroled into the US in 1966—nearly 60 years ago! They were set to deport him anyway.

Details in my new piece:

Why Did a 75-Year-Old Man in Poor Health Just Die in ICE Custody?
Isidro Perez came to the United States from Cuba nearly 60 years ago. This is who Stephen Miller is going after now?

Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” is moving forward after he threatened Senators.

$150 billion for immigration raids
$45 billion for private prisons
$30,000 ICE bonuses
11.8 million could lose Medicaid
Millions cut from SNAP

They are building a police state with our money.

It looks like they're on to my game.
I called mine but I honestly doubt @rogermarshallmd.bsky.social or staff listens to calls or reads messages. He doesn’t live in KS and doesn’t care what happens to us - as long as he can hang on Trump’s coattails.

This Supreme Court is not a judicial court, but a royal court.

They exist not to apply the laws of this nation fairly for all its citizens but rather to prop up the king and attend to his needs and his needs alone.
this court says that allowing EPA to regulate carbon emissions is a "major question" that demands congressional debate. but allowing the president to, with a flick of the wrist, end a straightforward constitutional right is something that must be allowed to stand?

So we have an unconstitutional Supreme Court.

Which begs the question: if the Supreme Court keeps nullifying the very document that gives the Supreme Court its authority, why should anyone recognize the authority of the Supreme Court?

The left is finally on the trail of what actually motivates every ruling by the Supreme Roberts Court, but that changes exactly nothing. Republicans RULE, baby!
The thought behind this is basically, "how can we let Trump get away with committing any crime he wants as long as possible?" Which is the motivating factor behind virtually every Roberts Court ruling related to Trump bsky.app/profile/elie...
The main upshot of today's birthright citizenship ruling (that I'm still making way through) seems to be that each person victimized by an unconstitutional Trump order has to pretty much sue individually.
Trump is free to act unconstitutionally to everybody individually.

there is no jurisprudence at work here. the republican court believes that anything a republican president is presumptively constitutional, even if it directly violates the unambiguous constitutional text and causes total chaos in law and policy.

I was actually ridiculed by (some) of my shipmates in the Navy for my “book larnin’”. Anti-intellectualism has a long & shameful history in America. Isaac Asimov captured the attitude perfectly: “‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’” He said this decades before social media.

Quick summary of Starship test flight 9:

Booster exploded during landing burn. Ship reached space, but doors wouldn’t open for satellite deployment. Shortly after, ship began to tumble uncontrollably and broke up during reentry.

Not as spectacular as flights 7 & 8, but still a failure.
