Enjoy fantasy, sci-fi and sci-fi fantasy. My favorite books right now are the Storm Light series by Brandon Sanderson. Also a Frank Herbert fan. Recently graduated with BS in software engineering looking for my first professional gig.
U.S. is being dismantled. I weep 😢

What AI tools are you using in your work?
January 15, 2025 at 11:09 PM
If you’re ignoring AI at the moment, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Any job space where you’re handling data, records, outlining presentations, or writing reports for example, work loads by people will be dramatically reduced. Does your work use MS Office? Check out Microsoft Copilot Studio

Mexico’s president, Claudia Sheinbaum, rejected several of President-elect Trump’s assertions about her country and joked that the U.S. should be called “Mexican America” after Trump said the Gulf of Mexico should be renamed the Gulf of America.

Christmas is a happy time for many but this year please take a moment to remember all the people who’ve died trying to imitate Mr Bean’s turkey-on-head routine from “Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean”

I’m going to say something bold here and publicly state that “murder is not the way to solve national problems” but suffering from chronic debilitating pain seems to be a much more logical reason for someone to go apeshit than women being in Star Wars

To be honest, the president shouldn't have a pardon power to begin with, as it breeds corruption.

But that - like so many other problematic issues in modern America (gun violence! the electoral college! supreme court lifetime appointments!) - requires amending the Constitution.

George Washington pardoned people convicted of sedition. Adams for treason. Madison & Monroe pardoned pirates. Jackson for a robbery conviction. Lincoln soldiers who deserted. FDR pardoned smugglers. Truman bribery & fraud. I guess none of them cared about the rule of law.
