I like trains, incredibly niche information about sport and food you construct yourself at the table.

If you want a 'private members club' and can afford the fee, you can just get the same experience without the hassle and for a fraction of the cost by just going to a decent family restaurant repeatedly.

Okay so imagine this, you have no opinions, you have no skills, you have no wants or desires, you are a smooth orb of nothing and our subscription service helps make sure you still cast a shadow that resembles a human being. Sounds sick right?

🇻🇦 The Sistine Chapel Choir football team finally has something to sing about after winning its first game of the season in the Vatican City's league.

Great thread here, and some interesting points in the replies. Pondering it, I wonder if it's one of the reasons I've gone deeper and deeper into sport over the years, ironically, in search of good, honest, gets going, has an arc and a defined ending, drama.
Enjoying being told that all the must-see television is quite boring until the last episode which is brilliant, and people not understanding that, of course this is how you build a sustainable streaming model: on endless promise. The money is made in season gaps, in anticipation, not storytelling.

Outside your direct experience (and running away from bears) you just have to trust that someone else has probably thought about this stuff harder than you, and you’re not going to be much help.

The best episode of Match of the Day by far was the one without presenters. Are there really people who tune in for the analysis? I watch *a lot* of televised football and I can count on one hand the times I've watch any analysis before, at HT or after the game. It's just... not the product?

What's the worst joke you're committed to? Mine is to say 'thank god you're charging more for that. Every year, thousands die drilling those little holes' whenever website tries to upsell me more memory on some form of device. A joke that a) isn't funny b) no-one but me can hear.
