Parents deserve to be informed, included, and empowered to help eliminate harmful practices in schools. Yet, many are left out of critical decisions, and children are misunderstood instead of supported. It's time for change. #AgainstRestraint #DyingForAnEducation

Trying to help a homeless autistic teen this week. She's so ashamed of her situation. She is wheezing away in sheltered accomodation bc her PTSD and social anxiety won't let her get in the car with me to go to hospital. It's not her fault and yet she carries all the internalised shame

Good start to the day when you see an email from an #send case officer to a parent containing;
1. a refusal to consult with parent's preferred school (unlawful); and
2. reference to an Act that does not exist.

Remind me again how anyone concluded the problem with the #ehcp system is parents?
