Young, autistic and ADHD: moving into adulthood when you’re multiply neurodivergent.

Growing up unknowingly AuDHD was more difficult than it should have been. So I wrote a book about all the things I needed to know for this generation of AuDHDers to benefit from! ⬇️

I don’t understand how there can be any support of the monarchy in the UK. Especially since the latest Epstein files..

Does anybody else have 0 energy throughout the day but suddenly feels awake when it’s time for bed?

Something I will always be grateful for is that I never have to go to school again.

It’s a never ending cycle
An autistic woman is reportedly unable to choose between letting people walk all over her, resulting in self-loathing, or being so assertive that everyone gets mad at her, resulting in self-loathing.

I’ve always known part of the reason I love swimming is from the sensory input I get from moving through water.

However, something I realised today is that swimming is the quickest way to get into a monotropic flow state for me, which brings lots of autistic joy too!

Freshly washed white bedsheets = your cat instantly jumping on the bed with muddy paws.

Always the way 😂

Did you know that you can still support authors by taking out our books from your local library?

In the UK and some other countries, authors get a modest payment every time our books are borrowed from public libraries.

Anyway, here’s me supporting myself by doing that 🤣

The worst part of the autistic Barbie discourse.

Seeing people recreate ableist versions of autistic people they know as a Barbie doll.

It’s mainly of autistic children as well.

They cannot consent to this!

One of the biggest compliments an autistic person can give you is them remembering what your interests are and sharing with you what they have now learnt about it.

"No one Barbie will ever be able to represent every single autistic person entirely. However, how Autistic Barbie has been presented does challenge the narrow stereotypical image of autism."

My take on Autistic Barbie ⬇️

Opinion: Do I think Autistic Barbie is good representation?
If you were on social media on Monday morning (12th Jan 2026), then you will have likely seen the announcement by Mattel but they are launching an autistic Barbie. Since this announcement there has…

Why am I noticing a pattern of people who were ableist to me growing up are now prolific “likers” of inspiration porn on social media today? 🤔

I didn’t need any further confirmation I’m a crazy cat lady, but the supermarket did an unwrapped of my 2025 spending which included this.

I wasn’t in the top 1% for anything else 🤣

Listening to podcasts can really help with my productivity.

It’s like I have to distract my mind that I’m not doing the task that I need to do but am struggling to start.

Sometimes it helps me get into a flow state as well.

So many people claim "everyone is obsessed with labels now"

But before mine were confirmed, I was still being labelled...and all of those labels were far more hostile than Autism and ADHD.

At least those two labels are accurate, and explain a lot about myself that I couldn't make sense of before.

ADHD is wild sometimes because what do you mean I struggle to do basic household tasks during the day, but then suddenly have the urge to rearrange all the furniture late at night. 🤷🏻‍♀️
