One other thing about many of these Marines/Guardsmen who are being co-opted by Trump. There are programs whereby members of the armed service can sponsor undocumented parents to get green cards and citizenship.
Many of these may be serving for that very reason. Don't rush to judgment.

I called Congresswoman Celeste Maloy's office this morning and registered my disgust for her vote. I asked if there was anything in the bill that would help the people of Utah. The staffer on the phone said they couldn't think of anything. Then back pedaled and said, "But I'm just an intern."
