Even if you give people a template for what to do, most will not do anything. You have to make your peace with this or you won't be able to continue to organize.

As of Monday, Trump has fired over 100 immigration judges, essentially on suspicion of them being judges, as opposed to sure-thing compliant cogs in the mass deportation machine

Trump Has Never Been Clearer About What an Immigration Judge’s Real Job Is
The president doesn’t want immigration judges who handle cases by the book. He wants immigration judges who will rubber-stamp his mass deportations agenda.

TN07 is a story about gerrymandering: the GOP cracked Nashville into 3 districts when it redrew the 2022 map, destroying the Dem seat there.

Fast-forward: a section of Nashville, which just 5 years ago had a Dem representative, is now voting Dem by huge margins but it's been designed to not matter.

If you can, please consider donating to their GoFundMe. The money is going to union members this holiday so they can buy groceries and pay rent while they fight for a fair contract.

If MiUSA means anything at all, it must mean good paying jobs for workers.

Disappointed to see this. 160 union workers are fighting for a fair contract at Individualized Shirts, a US factory that makes high-end men's button-ups. The managers there have rejected the union's request for fair wages and health insurance. The union is asking for support 🧵

Like, for example, what does the US Department of Defense use as a literal example of a "clearly illegal order?"

TX Tech has a flow chat for guidance on what can be taught in the university system. Two things:
1. Very little content seems to be permitted. This is partisan control of the curriculum.
2. I would not enjoy teaching under these conditions, but I really would not want to be a Chair or Dean.

That preparation needs to include showing everyone the lavish lifestyle of each and every billionaire who went all in on AI. We didn't see the bankers. We didn't see the car manufacturers. But these fools all wanted to be famous. So let them be infamous and despised.
People aren't paying attention to this.

We are going to be forced to bail out AI and Crypto.

It's just a matter of when.

Be prepared.

It'll be like 2008 but so much worse and dumber.
I’m reading Sorkin’s 1929

Jesus. On top of the usual Wall Street over-leveraged fuckery, this time they’re going to demand ordinary Americans bail out crypto as well

This is why OpenAI is selling so aggressively to education at all levels—they want to create entire generations of users incapable of reading, writing and thinking without ChatGPT to hold their hands

And teachers and professors should call this out for what it actually is
To bear out this rosy projection, HSBC assumes that OpenAI will become "as ubiquitous [...] as Microsoft 365" (345mm users worldwide) while bringing in 10x the number of users (3bn).

You're a high ranking government official and you shouldn't make things up.

Your 70% number is just a fabrication.

And it's TOTALLY not true that "every single" person you detained is here illegally. For instance, many were allowed in so they could apply for asylum.
