No business is profitable unless it takes in more money than it pays out. For health insurance, that means either charging people more than their actual healthcare costs, which they can't afford, or else charging them premiums and then denying their care.

There is a reason why other countries nationalized certain industries. That being the fact that some beneficial services, including ones that are necessary for survival, are not profitable. The private sector will always fail to provide for everyone who needs them, because it literally cannot do so.
No. They went UHC decades and generations ago when the size of their healthcare industries were a fraction of our size.
They didn't have anywhere else the scale of investment in care that we do.
